Visual identity, website, SEO, social presence, and the narrative that earns attention and keeps it.
Visual identity, website, SEO, social presence, and the narrative that earns attention and keeps it. Rebranding post-acquisition, market repositioning, or building something compelling from scratch. Property photography briefing and direction included where needed.
Independent hotels, restaurants and wineries at a turning point: a change of ownership, a new generation taking over, a place that has outgrown the way it presents itself, or one that is simply hard to find online. The quality is usually already there. What is missing is a clear idea of what the place is, said the same way everywhere a guest might meet it.
Positioning first: who the place is for, what it promises, and the ground it can claim that its neighbours cannot. Then everything that carries it: the visual identity, the photography (briefed and directed, so that the rooms and the table look like themselves), the copy in each language, the website, search and social media.
The order matters. A new website built on an unclear idea only spreads the confusion faster.
It starts with a reading of what exists — reputation, website, search, social media, the competition — and a conversation about what the owners want the place to be. From there come a positioning and a plan, then the work itself, done or directed by me, with specialists brought in where they add something.
At Terre di Baccio, after a change of ownership, that meant a new identity, a photo shoot and most of the copy. At Ca’ di Pesa, a new website, an online wine shop, an SEO plan and an Instagram account grown organically to about 3,000 followers.
I work with independent properties — hotels, restaurants, wineries and estates — usually at the upper end of their market. Size matters less than the wish to be clearly better at something.
Yes. Often the most useful thing I can do is write the brief: what the place is, who it is for, what every piece must say. A good agency works better from a clear brief, and you keep the relationships you already have.
Yes. Both are written, not translated, so that each reads naturally to the guests it is meant for.
