Twenty years of operational leadership, brand strategy, and revenue management — built inside one of Tuscany's most celebrated small hotels, and now available to the properties that deserve the same results.
Independent properties rarely need just one thing. They need someone who understands the whole picture — and knows which lever to move first.
Visual identity, website, SEO, social presence, and the narrative that earns attention and keeps it. Rebranding post-acquisition, market repositioning, or building something compelling from scratch. Property photography briefing and direction included where needed.
Reducing OTA dependency without sacrificing occupancy. Channel management, rate strategy, PMS optimisation, and the systems that build a loyal direct-booking guest base over time. The goal: keep more of what you earn.
Hands-on operational leadership for properties in transition — from family management to professional models, post-crisis rebuilds, or full turnarounds. P&L management, team recruitment and development, supplier negotiations, and guest experience design.
Cooking school launches, restaurant concept development, food cost management, and building the dining experience that becomes central to your property's identity. Proven at scale — from small hotel restaurants to standalone F&B brands.
I'm Ricardo Lourenço — born in Porto, educated in Paris, London, and Florence, and based in Tuscany for over twenty years. I don't advise from a distance or arrive with a generic framework. I've managed the thing I'm now asked to advise on, at every level.
My career was built at Villa Bordoni, a twelve-room property in the heart of Chianti Classico that I joined before it opened. Over nineteen years I moved from founding its direct-booking model and shaping its early identity, through eleven years as Sales & Marketing Manager, to serving as Managing Director — achieving all-time revenue records in each of my final two seasons.
Through Bespoke216, I bring that same precision and commitment to independent properties that want to close the gap between what they are and what they could be. Boutique hotels, agriturismo, wineries, and restaurants — properties with a story worth telling and the ambition to tell it properly.
A selection of engagements across boutique hospitality, food & beverage, wine, and luxury brand strategy.
Every property is different. The first conversation is simply about understanding yours — where it is, where it could be, and whether there's a genuine fit. No obligation, no pitch deck.
